Most students in the Social and Behavioural Sciences will never do real programming, so this
page is not for them. However, students who are involved in developing data-analytic methods,
such as those studying Psychometrics at the Institute of Psychology will learn what programming
is and how to do it themselves, mostly using specific packages, such as MatLab and R.
