SAS/CALIS Input specifications

Multimode or Three-Mode Factor Analysis

Author: Wolfgang M. Hartmann

Example CALIS21: Meyer, Bendig, & McDonald data

SAS Code + Data

Reference data: Meyer and Bendig - details see McDonald.
Published analysis: McDonald (1980), McDonald (1984).

Example CALIS51: Generalized Multimode Latent Variable Models

SAS Code + Data

Reference data and published analysis: Bentler, Poon, & Lee (1988).

Comments:
Three-Mode Models in Factor Analysis.
Code allows for comparison GLS and ML results with Bentler et al. (1988).
There are serious problems in estimating initial values and singular central model matrices occur.
