Plot Edit Help
The plots in the browser are PNG plots which are bitmaps. They can therefore not be edited.
However, if you would like to edit the plots, you can do two things.
- Deselect the Browser option in the program options. Instead of Create Plots the text in the
menu will read View Plots and the plotting program will stop after each plot. By clicking the
the right mouse button you can copy the plot to the Clipboard and work on it in a drawing program
such as PowerPoint, Freelance or PaintShop. You will have to ungroup
the graph so that you can edit the separate elements of the graph.
- Alternatively, you may run the plotting program WGNUPLOT.EXE with the appropriate
<jobname>.PLT file. The plots produced by WGNUPLOT can be saved via the Clipbord (Ctrl-C) and loaded
(Ctrl-V) into a drawing program (e.g. Freelance, PowerPoint, etc.). You will have to ungroup
the graph so that you can edit the separate elements of the graph.
Depending on how the plot file <jobname>.PLT was created you may have to edit the file in order to
have WGNUPLOT stop after each graph. Bring the plot file into the editor and after each plot remove
the # sign from each line which looks as follows
# pause -1 "Click OK for next Plot"
